Treatment of anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders in Moscow

Features of our clinic

  • International standards for the treatment of eating disorders
The CIRPP applies international standards of care for patients with eating disorders. We apply international guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in adults and adolescents.
  • Safe nutrition and weight restoration
The clinic has a specialized dietetics department that focuses on nutritional rehabilitation for those with eating disorders, with a personalized approach for each patient. A daily meal plan is prescribed and closely monitored. The individualized menu is regularly adjusted based on the treatment progress.
  • Parenteral nutrition
Internal organ function and body weight in people with eating disorders cannot be restored solely through food; this is harmful and fraught with complications. Therefore, we use expensive parenteral nutrition methods to restore impaired bodily functions without putting strain on the pancreas and liver.
  • Family integration into the treatment process
We include parents and loved ones in the treatment process at the clinic. Our center has a multi-family psychotherapy group, which includes patients and their parents, as well as other family members who wish to participate. Group sessions help patients and their families distinguish between personality traits and changes resulting from the illness and find ways to facilitate the recovery process. We train parents in skills through a DBT training group. We also offer support groups for family members and loved ones. For some families, we use FBT.
  • Effective psychotherapeutic techniques
We use scientifically proven psychotherapeutic methods: Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Eating Disorders (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family-Based Therapy (FBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Our extensive staff of psychologists ensures that each patient receives the highest level of attention and treatment.
  • A multidisciplinary team of qualified specialists
Each patient works with a close-knit team of clinic specialists from various fields of medicine: psychiatrist, psychologist, nutritionist, therapist, endocrinologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist, pediatrician, and other specialists as needed.
